For the redesign of the public areas of a hotel, the restaurant, among other things, was to receive a new relaunch. In this project, the lighting concept and philosophy of the responsible lighting planner “light to see”, “light to look” and “light to look at” was realistically presented in 3D visualizations. The challenge was to make this concept tangible through detailed 3D visualizations that represent both the carefully selected luminaires and their atmospheric effect in the room. In addition to lighting, an accurate illustration of the interior design was required to illustrate the harmonious interplay of lighting and furnishings. This comprehensive approach made it possible, in close cooperation with lighting designers and interior designers, to create an authentic sense of space that meets both aesthetic and functional requirements. The visualizations developed not only served to present the concept, but also as a decision-making aid for project participants to find the optimal lighting solution for an inviting and functional room atmosphere.
