In this project, an existing building of an old school was to be converted into a brick façade, which, among other things, would accommodate a kindergarten. We at RhineRender had the task of visualizing the ideas for the kindergarten. While the building itself was only to undergo minimal changes, such as the addition of a green roof including a PVC system, the focus was on redesigning the outdoor area, including creating new parking facilities in the entrance area of the building. The brick façade should be preserved and be showcased in architectural renderings in order to preserve the historical aesthetics. Particular attention was paid to the child-friendly design of the outdoor area, which was intended to underline the function of the building as a kindergarten and at the same time provide a space for play and fun. The entire atmosphere should be friendly and inviting. By working with the customer, planning problems could be identified and resolved at an early stage during the correction phases.
